It is widely acknowledged that Facebook is not only the most popular social network of the moment, but also the application that is most used on both major mobile platforms, Android and iOS. Therefore, a new Facebook application is something of an event and the Facebook Timeline App for iPad sure left fans waiting after its release was delayed. However, now that it is on the market, users have several new features of the Facebook for iPad to play with.

The fresh Facebook application enables users to rearrange their post, latest news or personal info chronologically, in the idea of letting people know how your life changed over time. But that is not the only trick of the Facebook Timeline App for iPad, as some functions seem to have improved compared with the last version of Facebook for iPad. The photos, for example, are loading much faster and the response time is a lot smaller. The notifications feature now activates pop-up windows or takeovers of half the screen, as opposed to sending users to different pages, which also speaks to the easier and quicker access provided by the new Facebook application.

Another great new feature is that you can now add friends to specific lists, rather than just to a general “Friends” section, and also enables “Subscribers” and “Subscriptions” features, just like on the website, allowing users to be kept up to date with posts from friends or to keep them updated.

Combining the easiness and speed of the desktop experience with the multi-touch features of the iPad, the Facebook for iPad application is an awesome app, which will make the social network even more popular, if that is even possible.
